    Despite my excitement at getting "Dugout" seats to next Wednesday's game vs. Cinci (Row C), it looks like I can't go. I checked e-bay, and similar seats for similar games are going below face value, which is $500 for the pair. Anyone want to make an offer at face value? Otherwise, does anyone know of a charity I can donate to? I may just take the deduction. Thanks!

    Just out of curiousity, Matt Clement nearly gets his head taken off by a line drive, his health disposition is uncertain, yet you couldn't resist making this comment comment??

    These twp teams are starting to play well and starting to put some space between themselves and .500. With the Nationals in a predictable free fall, Houston and Philly are demonstrating that they may be our toughest Wild Card competition. It will be interesting to see if these two teams do anything drastic at the deadline to make it clear that they're going to go for the jugular in the second half.

    With all due respect, Mr. Miles reads this website on an almost daily basis and sometimes we are lucky enough to have him talk baseball with us. Bruce is at the game right now. And he thought enough of this website to quell the stupid rumor before anymore of us went crazy with speculation and anticipation. He is one hellofa nice guy. I'm recognize and agree with all of that. I'm simply saying that the fact that Brennaman pressed Hendry on it is a pretty good indication that this rumor is coming from multiple directions.

    With all due respect, I think we're giving ourselves too much credit if we think that a rumor went from NSBB to Miles to Brennaman to Hendry in 20 hours. Obviously this rumor was in broader circles.

    Rockies go up 3-2 on the Nats in the 6th, 2 on and nobody out.

    Funny-- alot of people (me included) thought New York got shafted in the Claussen - Boone trade. Turned out a hell of a lot better for the Yankees.

    With the speculation in today's Sun Times (http://www.suntimes.com/output/couch/cst-spt-greg18.html) and picked up by ESPN Insider, combined with the fire-sale by the Marlins, this question is worth digging up again. Would you want Pierre? Who do we give up? What would this mean for Patterson/Pie?

    So once you've purchased tickets for a game, you can jump to another game without going back into the VWR? whoops.

    Why does it give you the whole schedule when you get out of the virtual waiting room-- did anyone notice that?? Can you pick another game than the game you picked to get in in the first place?

    I got 4 tickets bleachers for Sat. Red Sox and 4 tickets sec 229 for Sunday!!! They would't le me get six of either. I feel like I won the lottery.
