The guy offering me the trade first offered Chris Young (AZ - OF) and I passed on that one. I might be a little light in the HR department, but I should do ok most weeks. Any thoughts?

    I have a delimma. After losing Ronnie Brown, Carnell Williams, and with Frank Gore being unreliable. I have been playing with whoever I can grab. Luckily I picked up Brandon Jacobs when he returned so that is one slot filled. Other options for this week. Priest Holmes at Denver Justin Fargas at Chicago Frank Gore at Seattle (if he plays) I am leaning toward Holmes because Denver really sucks (even thought they beat my Steelers). Any thoughts?

    We (wife, 5 and 6 year old girls) were in section 129 last row before the concourse. Those of you in section 30 were just to our right but closer to the field. We were three seats away from the loudest guy you could imagine yelling "go home Cubbies" repeatedly he also kept screaming how they didn't need any Cubs fans in Texas. Amazingly my 5 year slept in my wife's lap through the whole thing. We were really lucky to have the seats we did. I am an idiot and had bought two sets of four tickets in CF bleachers for Tuesday's game and didn't realize it. When we showed up for the second game we were told the tickets were invalid. Not only did they exchange them when they didn't have to, we got a major upgrade free of charge. That was one heck of an experience. My wife didn't get great pictures of the home run, but she got some great ones of Lee's broken bat floating through the air earlier in the game.

    Oh well, the premium dates I would be able to attend are out of my price range any way. Good luck to everyone else. I can still get tickets if someone wants a specific game, I will try.

Should I burn the slot and grab him or wait to see what comes up later? Also who to drop?

    I know people who have eaten there, but I personally have not. I think they are opening a new one on NW Expressway right around the corner from our shop.

    Always vote third party. Even if the candidate is insane. That way you can complain no matter which puppet wins the election.

    I have paid $20 to park in the Taco Bell parking lot right across from Wrigley on two ocassions. Getting out after the game was a bear, but you don't get any closer.

    I agree, Kauffmann is a great park. I saw the Cubs at Kauffman back in 98 when they still had Johnny Baseball in KC.

    In a 12 team Yahoo Standard 5 x5 Roto league I have the following lineup Willingham D. Lee Kent Ensberg Peralta M. Cabrera Burrell Luis Gonzalez Freel at Utility. Winn & B. Molina on the bench. One of the owners in the league offered me Figgins for Cabrera. He has both Reyes and Figgins so he is packed in the SB department. I have not rejected his request, but asked him if he would do Kent for Figgins instead. SB was the one area that I lacked after the draft, but I picked up Freel to help with that. Would you trade either Kent or Cabrera for Figgins?

    In a 12 team Yahoo Standard 5 x5 Roto league (auto draft picking 10th) I have the following for pitching. Prior Harden Sabathia Lowry Weaver Maddux Glavine Valverde Gordon Devine (in expectation that Reitsma falls apart) I am looking to drop a starter and pick up either Burgos or Cotts. I am leaning toward Glavine for Cotts. I know Burgos is closing right now, but is he going to actually get any saves? Is Jenks going to get his stuff back together? For general reference, my offense is B. Molina D. Lee Kent Ensberg Peralta Cabrera Burrell Winn For Utility & backups I have Baldelli, Luis Gonzalez, Casey, Willingham. Is there any reason to keep Casey and Gonzo, should I drop one of them and get a potential closer? Is Baldelli going to be good again?

    I was checking for tickets in STL as well and considered buying the 4 pack and selling the other tickets, but the 4 game packs for that weekend are only showing availability in singles. That does not mean that there will not be some available when single game goes on sale.

    Basketball has gone over here in an unbelievable way, but I don't think we have the ability to support a MLB franchise. If the NBA is smart, we will keep the Hornets and they will move one of the others to NO
