  1. Here's to not setting your sights too high. With all due respect, they are reasonably priced and affordable. Z06 - Mid 60's - good price for the power you get, will run with the Ferrari Enzo Viper SRT10 - 2004's are around 58 - 62K Ford GT - Mid 150's - Note: The only car to consume a full tank of gas in 15 minutes at wide open throttle. I have driven all 3 and was amazed at all of them! They are amazing, even in comparison to Porsche, Ferrari, Lambo. Ya, but my truck can crush those cars in a head on, esp my 76 dodge, and i don't have to worry about washing it.
  2. This is a tough one, my Mazda 626 is a Japanese model that was made at the Ford Plant along side the ford Probe in the 90's but My dodge Ram was made in the United states or at least some of the parts.
  3. Get off Augie's back he alwaysed hustled he is short and he has a great baseball name, besides, Dusty says "he makes a better capachino then Macias and the expresso is to die for" Just quoting Dusty
  4. 53. Anna Benson says she will sleep with posters at NSBB if the Cubs win the WS. Who is she????
  5. I hope so, I pray so but we have a tendency to get over-excited about anything that has promise ie: Corey Patterson
  6. Put a poll up for that one too, get poker off ESPN
  7. Murton the Mick I bet it is going to be something original like "Red" Pierre= Pepe after pepe le pu anybody with a french name has to live with this stereo type
  8. I lived in venezuela, obviously he isn't paying the right amount of money to the right people or he could have made this go away. sad but true. I bet once out he is a bargain
  9. What snow??? hasn't snowed or rained in amarillo, Texas since August. so sadly yes I am at work
  10. Nice article but I'll let the stat geeks worry about doing the math I'll enjoy the game and expect all of them to perform at an unbelievable level..Thome or Macias
  11. I hope that didn't affect how you voted?
  12. Nope, those are only sent out when the cubs are in first at the end of the season. so it is kind of like christmas card once a year or in our case once a century
  13. Ok, let's keep it simple, and it is hard for me not to start ranting Is it the "Holidays cards" you will be sending out or is it "Christmas cards" Not to influence this poll but GW is sending Holiday cards out.
  14. You don't. that's why at some point, without any guarantees, you have to stick the rookie in the batting order and see if he can do it. that isn't true we have prognosticators on this site that said Patterson was a five tool man that was the next wunderkind. In fact I am looking for them now. I am glad corey came along it humbled many "I know everything about baseball and human nature people." Maybe we can start judging these guys after 3 solid season in the majors instead of an april in their rookie year or AAA
  15. So you think that we didn't use the old formula match + gas + burnt bridge with Nomar?
  16. Or maybe he visited chicago on a really cold day and said this isn't for me, LA is much warmer, and I can hang out with people like Jamie Fox and bruce Willis. or it could be the money.
  17. I am hoping he gets Furcal's agent drunk and his wife, then you take two thinkers out of the equation and he may sign cheap
  18. I am hoping he gets Furcal's agent drunk and his wife, then you take two thinkers out of the equation and he may sign cheap
  19. what are you saying? They don't marlin fish in OKC or Vegas?
  20. Isn't it pathetic we think this way?
  21. As a college football fan, as well as a Northwestern fan who saw them early in the season, let me tell you that they could very easily have two by now. so you are saying that there is real colledge football fans then there are actually people that go and watch Northwestern? Wow! I learn new things everyday
  22. I would be foolish to say they didn't have a good pitching staff, but then again they are lousy at managing it. the first half the year the Cards lead the majors in complete games toward the end of the year they still continued to pitch 8 innings, though they looked alright they were playing against a team theat was exhausted. If management of the pitiching staff was more efficient they might have been able to have at least one last year in the WS and gotten to it this year
  23. I found it interesting in light of this comment in today's Mike Downey column in the Tribune... http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sports/columnists/cs-051118downey,1,1416748.column?page=2&coll=cs-home-utility You would think if they were short of money, though, the last thing they'd want to get rid of is one of their biggest cash cows. In a company that has potential bankrupcy written on it the cash cow is the a very marketable asset that could be sold for over true value.
  24. Just put up a new fence so I am most familiar with them.
