  1. That would be Mike Shannon - my vote for the worst announcer ever.
  2. I'm in Tulsa and I'm blacked out of Cardinals, Royals, Rangers and Astros games. Should be considered a crime. But surely you get to see Cardinals and Rangers games on your FSN channels, right? The only team I get on FSN is the Braves on FSN South In Oklahoma he's probably got FSN Southwest which gets you Astros and Rangers (more of the Astros than anything else though, unfortunately). Yes we get FSN Southwest. Cox Cable also shows a majority of the Cardinals games and a lot of the Rangers games (that are not on FSN) on a couple local access channels.
  3. I'm in Tulsa and I'm blacked out of Cardinals, Royals, Rangers and Astros games. Should be considered a crime. While I agree the blackouts are ridiculous - I "understand" the Cardinals, Rangers and Astros in Tulsa. But Royals? I haven't seen a Royals game on Cox Cable in years! Am I mising something here?
  4. So did I. Well this sucks :x Isn't it at least on WGN radio?!?!?!? What's going on? I couldn't get it on mlb audio so I tried directly with WGN radio on line - no idea what it is but it definitely isn't baseball! Yes, it's on both local radio and Gameday Audio. Interesting - I am listening to some weird stuff about riding a cab and being safe on wgn radio on line. It's on WGN Radio. You can't listen to it online through the WGN website because their broadcast agreement with MLB doesn't allow them to stream baseball games. To listen to the WGN broadcast online, you need a gameday audio subscription. Yeah but usually on line they just say they can't broadcast the game and they don't have an alternate show. I just went there because at the time I couldn't get anything on gameday audio - which I am now getting though, but when I got it there were 2 outs already!

  7. Cardinals just took the lead
  8. St. Louis just tied the game
  9. Please win it If we tie it, Eyre would come in to blow it. Which is why they need to win it!
  10. Well there's really nothing you can do about that. I mean seriously, can you think of any possible solution to that problem? I sure can't. That is a tough one. Maybe, perhaps, oh I don't know, maybe uh get a left handed BP pitcher?!?!?!?!
  11. little over 20 now, probably around 25 You are good - 25 according to gameday
  12. Haven't heard - could we be so lucky that it is Ohman?
  13. Fox and ESPN national games are all restricted access (the games are not available live but can be viewed once they are archived). Blackouts are also geographical. Okay...So I'm from Chicago so are all home games blackout for me? Do you live in the Chicago area? If so, you will be blackedout because MLB is encouraging you to watch the game locally. There are ways to get around the restrictions... I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin' I already put I'm from Chicago when I signed up so I'm screwed in that area. So I can only watch away games not broadcast on ESPN and Fox. Lame! If I would've known that I would never signed up... I may be wrong (and I hope so for your sake!) but I read it that you won't see any of the Cubs games: Local Live Blackout: ALL LIVE MLB.TV games will be blacked out in each applicable Club's home television territory
  14. Just heard on ESPN that DeRosa is out as well - back.
  15. Did you call or find it on line? I called. BTW, it turns out that they are already showing the free preview games. My cable company's website doesn't mention that they have a deal....and my program guide doesn't list the channels as MLB Extra Innings. But I called and the first thing I heard was a prerecorded message saying they had the MLB Extra Innings package and there is a free preview. I flipped the channel on my TV while I was on hold and sure enough, the games were on for free (in my case on some of the NHL Center Ice channels.) I ordered the package and got the early bird price (I forget what it was but I believe it was in the $150 or a little lower range.) Cox cable right? Where are you (if you don't mind telling me!) I live in Newport News, VA. I don't know if they'd do their sports packages the same way in Tulsa. If you have digital cable already though, you should flip through the NHL Center Ice stations and see if any of them has MLB Extra Innings schedules or games. The program guide doesn't list it but it's there for me. Thanks! We do already have digital so will at least check!
