Tony Larussa made sure to line up his best pitchers against the Cubs this weekend, and today he's resting pretty much all of his regulars against the Brewers. Someone needs to tell him that the Cubs suck and it's not worth it.
With the lineups the past two days it looks like maybe the reins have been tightened on Dusty. I can't believe he's made these lineups. Good to see Corey back. Hopefully he has some good at-bats today. I hope the boo birds aren't out in full force if he doesn't do well. Let's hope Prior doesn't give up 12 runs in the 1st inning and that the Cubs can build on that sliver of momentum that they had going in the 9th inning last night.
Bring up the kids. It's time to see what sort of future we have. If Hendry can somehow trade guys like Lawton, Burnitz, Holla, and Maddux more power to him.
I'd expect Cedeno to be sent down since his only job nowadays is to bring gatorade to Macias and Neifi. Good to hear Corey is on his way back. Not that it will help at this point though.
Wow. That's actually a good lineup. Did Dusty get fired?? He would never make a lineup like that. No Macias. No Neifi. What is this world coming to?
