    What happened? What'd he do? K'd swinging. Major whiff job, from what I'm reading (I have audio and Gameday only). The ball was also in the dirt on the strike 3 and got away from the catcher. Burnitz didn't try to run to first base. He just put his head down and started back towards the dugout.

    He was probably a Cubs fan checking the Cubs/Reds score on his cellphone last night. Once he saw the score he felt suicide was the only way to go.

    I think the fans should all grab a newspaper and read the rest of the game. Either that or turn and face the other way. The Cubs don't deserve the fans attention at this point.

    Scott, I like you, but if you keep talking like this, I'm gonna puke and then I'm gonna clobber you. :-) I gonna still believe that they will pull this game out of the fire and end the streak. They have nothing to lose now. It's all about pride. We'll see what kind of men this team is made of when they can only play for pride. Everything else might be out of reach. Hill had a bad game. As a team you move on. Get the Offense going and see what happens. Scott, I gotta say that you've drinken a little too much Cubbie kool-aid. This team doesn't have any pride right now. They're down by 6 runs. They haven't scored 6 runs in I don't know how long. It's over.
