    Iowa lost 11-5. Pie ended up 2-4 with a double and an rbi single. Hoffpauir had 2 homers and 3 RBI's on the day. Wells' final line: 4.0IP, 8H, 6R, 6ER, 2BB, 5K, 3HR He's got an 11.08 ERA to start the year.

    Murton in RF? Awesome. Big fan of that. I guess Aram still isn't in the lineup if Murton is batting 4th. edit: Nevermind. I thought Floyd was in LF and Murton was in RF. Why did Lou switch Murton and Jones? Doesn't make much sense to me.

    Pie with an RBI infield single in his 2nd at-bat. Iowa still down 6-4.

    Exactly. There's no way the games should be cancelled tonight. This guy who did it is already going to be idolized by kids who are thinking about doing the same thing. Better to not give him more media attention than it's already getting.

    Sounds like the wind is blowing out pretty good in the Iowa game, but Wells is getting rocked once again. He's given up 6 runs, 3HR, in only 3 inning of work so far.

    Hoffpauir follows up Pie's double with a homerun. Iowa winning 3-1 still in the bottom of the first. Iowa almost went back to back to back. Fontenot homered just before Pie's double.

    Pie just missed a homerun to left in his first at-bat. Hit the top of the wall. He ended up with a stand-up double.

    I wonder if that's a sustainable batting average on balls in play... I'm sure he can keep that up, no problem. :lol:

    Well, it could have been worse. We could have only given up 1 hit and still lost like the White Sox did today... ...that's all I got.

Hopefully the shakeup is Theriot getting to play SS when ARam comes back. Good old Dave van Dyck didn't even think of that one. He is trying to figure out where they can stick him in the outfield. That and Murton getting playing time either in LF or RF. I'd rather see him getting time in RF because Jones is horrible.
