No. He definitely had a mark on his cheek from where the bat hit him. I don't understand taking him out though. He only had 77 pitches and had probably his best inning the inning before. Should have saved Marmol and let Marquis pitch 1 more inning.
I've said it before, but the Cubs need to do away with the guest conductor. I'm tired of hearing stupid celebs embarrass themselves, and then the terribly awkward conversation during the inning. Just let Ronnie do it from now on.
