    http://www.mlb.com/mlb/gameday The point of game threads is to discuss what happened in the game; not give play by play. Most days there is usually someone doing PBP anyway, I believe that the purpose is more to react than report. Roast don't read so good. He was saying he hoped people would give play-by-play because gameday can be a little slow at times.

    I'm guessing the mods have a forum where they discuss how many more of Bob Sander's jokes they can take before they ban him.

    Chip drives me nuts, but he's nowhere near as bad as Buck and McCarver. Stockton was up there though. Tough choice, but I went with TBS. It's sad that these stations can't get better broadcasters.

    I wonder what the Cubs are going to do with Epatt. They don't seem to think he's good enough with the glove to play 2b anymore and unfortunately that's where he's got the most value. Unless he can play CF, I don't see him being in the Cubs' plans for very much longer. The showing up late isn't helping his case any either. As for Fuld, he could be a good leadoff hitter, CF type. He doesn't hit for any power whatsoever, but has put up some good OBP numbers so far in his career.

    I'm just hoping the Cubs upgrade SS this offseason so we don't have to keep arguing about who sucks less.

    The Red Sox offense has been Manny, Papi, and Lowell. The rest of the bums have looked absolutely terrible.

    I've been a Red Sox fan almost as long as I've been a Cub fan. Always felt like they had a lot in common. Hahahahaha....Red Sox and Cubs have a lot in common? Hahahahaha. Notice I said had, not have. They're polar opposites today. They actually know how to hit.

    Kenny Lofton sure does love the playoffs. 2-run homer. Indians up 2-0 in the bottom of the 2nd.

    Red Sox with a very Cob-like 2nd inning. Loaded the bases with no outs and didn't score. Coco Crisp is terrible.
