  1. Honestly, I'd probably strike out, as would everyone else on here who hasn't played in forever. You're kidding yourself if you think you'd be able to pick out a slider or curveball without having seen live pitching in years. I'd expect the fastball and end up swinging at a 45-foot curveball.
  2. Berkman batting around .700 nowadays. Freaking ridiculous.
  3. Nice. He's way overdue to try pitching. Try him at pitcher now or release him already.
  4. Filthy. Nice work Woody. Way to preserve the shutout.
  5. Fans can see the pitch count. They post it on the scoreboards down each line.
  6. The fans at the stadium are idiots. Dempster shouldn't still be out there.
  7. Stupid decision to let Dempster try to finish it out.
  8. Fukudome is fun to watch at the plate. Come on Jimmy!
  9. He'll be an all-star RF within 6 months.
  10. Stop talking Phil Donahue. No one cares.
  11. he's played all of 7 games He's played more games than you have. Jerk. He was raking in spring training, then got hurt, and has come back hot after missing time. One of our prospects deserves a chance, for crying out loud.
  12. WTF is Donahue doing singing the stretch? Enough with the guest conductor crap.
  13. When the opposing pitcher is right-handed, I question half of No. 1. I'll rephrase. Edmonds is not better than a Johnson/Pie platoon. Call up Hoffpauir (who's been raking ever since spring training) and start him in RF. Move Fukudome to CF. Problems solved.
  14. They are new best friends, didn't you hear?
  15. Ronny Cedeno laughs in the face of Lou. It doesn't matter how many days in a row Ronny doesn't get to play, he's still going to produce.
