  1. I never understand why I watch anything on ESPN. It's always painful.
  2. No, hes hurt. Theres a difference. I love that movie.
  3. They're going to talk about the NL Central next.
  4. We need a crazy guy on the team. This team is too nice.
  5. What a huge surprise. They have spent the first 25 minutes talking about the Red Sox and Yankees.
  6. So far ESPN has talked about the Manny situation, but just put up a graphic with trade rumors. One of the rumors was Dunn to the Rays. Another was Maddux to the Dodgers. That would be a great pickup for the Rays if they can get it done.
  7. Haha. I don't want to know what he tried.
  8. I would love to have either one of these guys on the team. I've liked the production that Edmonds has given us, but it doesn't seem like he's going to stay healthy the rest of the year. This gives us more options for the lineup and means DeRo shouldn't have to play outfield anymore.
  9. Gammons says this deal is all but dead. Guessing that means it goes through at the deadline.
  10. What a terrible trade for the White Sox. He can not play CF at this point in his career. He's going to be terrible out there and will probably end up injuring himself. What is Williams thinking with this?
  11. I think Konerko's on his way out. I don't know. He still has $24 million left on his contract over the next 2 years. White Sox would have to pick up quite a bit of that to get him traded.
  12. To be fair, he hasn't really given the Cubs anything to care about. well, that's just a stupid thing to say. he's a 28 y/o, dirt cheap lefty that was one of the best pitchers in the NL in 2007. i think that's enough to make the cubs "care" about him regardless of how poorly he's pitched this season. I was mostly kidding with that statement. I'm sure the Cubs care about him, but he's just not producing at all this year. The wheels have completely fallen off. I'd rather they shut him down for the rest of the season, let him get his mechanics fixed and his head straight, and see what he can do next year.
  13. To be fair, he hasn't really given the Cubs anything to care about. Should probably shut him down for the rest of the year. No way he's going to help the Big Club this year at the rate he's going.
  14. Plesac is on drugs. He's going crazy on Post GAme Live.
  15. I wonder what he did to piss Lou off. He's fat, out of shape, and can't stay healthy.
  16. Wow. The Cubs have absolutely dominated so far this series. Hopefully they can continue the domination tomorrow with Harden going. Great series so far!!
  17. I love that they let off the fireworks when the Brewers are down 5. Classy.
  18. I don't know when the Cubs consider it, but I've just given up on his chances of helping the Big Club this season. He's just too messed up to be of any help in the near future.
  19. Ugh. Hill has hit back to back hitters after giving up a single. Bases loaded now.
  20. Completely agree. I don't understand why people spend all the money on real jerseys either. What's worse is the people who bought all those 2007 Division Champs clothing. It was dated 20 seconds after the playoffs ended for the Cubs.
  21. Hill with an okay 1st inning with 1 K, but gave up a walk and an infield single. No runs scored.
  22. Haha. and here comes the Dunn discussions and rumors. Wouldn't be a trade deadline without the Dunn talks.
  23. Who did you used to be?
  24. Alright guys. Let's not have a debate about who has more baseball knowledge than whom. This isn't the 3rd grade. Keep it civil and enjoy the game.
