Well there problem was they hired Hoyer, to lead a rebuild that wasn’t a rebuild. Pretty soon it’s going to be an actual rebuild. They really messed up two years ago, not trading Steele, Suzuki, and Nico. Still don’t understand the Nico extension. If they were smart they should trade Suzuki, Happ, Ben Brown, Busch and any relief pitcher. I don’t think they are that smart though. It’s also hard to trust any sort of development of prospects, when they haven’t developed a position player since Mark Grace. Hope cubs fans enjoyed the playoff run last year, because it could be a long time until the next one.
