  1. well next year you will hear me hoping for a rebuild! If there is a season that is.
  2. They could trade him for some prospects at the deadline.... I know fans do not want to hear that. This would be the Cubs version of the White Flag trade, but it is something that needs to be done.
  3. right now, yes. We don't know what will happen the rest of the season. They for sure aren't contending next year.
  4. well then you waste his career like Ryne Sandberg and Sammy Sosa. You will have superstar seasons on a medicore team. By the time the Cubs will be contending for the playoffs he will be gone.
  5. The Cubs haven't developed a position player, since Mark Grace. This one will not be any different.
  6. Also, the Cubs won't be contending for anything next year either. They should be focusing on a long rebuild again, and I believe that is what will be happening. Jed shouldn't be the one leading it, but he will be.
  7. This organization needs a rebuild, and it needs it badly. They are in the same spot they were in 2011. In fact they were not in that great of a spot with Theo. I keep telling fans he was Andy McPhail 2.0, but fans don't want to hear it.
  8. He could really jumpstart a rebuild...... now I will try to duck from Cubs fans arrows shot at me.
  9. It’s not like it’s been 15 years since they have developed any kind of pitching. Another reason why this is about to be rebuild #3. Cabrera will turn it around, but on another team. Wouldn’t be shocked if it’s on the Cardinals or Brewers.
  10. You could get a nice package of prospects for PCA. I will now duck out of the away.
  11. I mean I would see what they could get back for PCA. I don't see them contending anytime soon and he will be around 30 by the time the rebuild is complete. Also, I mean I could see the Cubs losing over 100 games three years in a row like the White Sox.
  12. Math must not be my strong suit. I meant I could see the Cubs losing over 300 games like the White Sox just did. That was over 2 two years, or three seasons.
