It has been a disappointing season in many ways - injures for sure tops the list, but their heart of the lineup can’t move runners, and their record speaks to them having the worst record in MLB since May 9th the last I saw. Obviously all the fans are frustrated with how this season is progressing. Personally, I think they’re definitely playing like a bad baseball team over the last 5-6 weeks. again, that doesn’t mean they will stay this way (I certainly hope not), but I’m just speaking to their current status.
