  1. My apologies if this is old news. Reports out of the enemy camp is that Arenado submitted a list of 5 or 6 teams that he would accept a deal, but isn’t discussing who those teams are/were. Uprooting his family seems to be one of his top concerns with waiving his NTC and would “have to make sense.”
  2. Hall of Great.
  3. Of course they are. There is pride on the line. It also appears that Theodore is going to be out longer than originally thought now.
  4. There is an argument for Allen. He already holds a number of NFL records and he’s only 28. With consideration I was probably too unkind to Brees here, however Allen is absolutely already in this conversation.
  5. The 4 Nations Face-Off doesn't matter. It’s an exhibition tournament. They are fortunate that the injury is only a minor inconvenience and he isn’t lost for any significant amount of time. Also a bad look for the league if any of these players do suffer a season ending injury. This isn’t the Olympics. They aren’t playing for anything meaningful.
  6. Brady, Manning, Mahomes, Rodgers, Allen… Brees, number six.
  7. Shea Theodore becomes the first casualty of the 4 Nations Face-Off. No timetable on how long he'll be out of action but I would be furious if I was a Golden Knights fan. They are dead even with Edmonton for the Pacific and he was having a career best season.
  8. It’s a green light for me if he’s coming from literally any other team.
  9. If you had told me in 2011 that Aaron Rodgers would never play in another Super Bowl I’d have said you were out of your mind.
  10. And what Buffalo can’t seem to do despite efforts to bolster the line.
  11. The entire Philly defensive line dominated and with no blitz packages. Just old school, send four and collapse the pocket. It was beautiful to watch.
  12. I don’t watch the commercials as religiously as I used to but my favorite of the night was the Harrison Ford Jeep spot.
  13. Thank you, Philly.
  14. I wasn’t suggesting they were tanking by trading Donato, but trading him doesn’t make the team better next season.
  15. I agree, but I’m of the belief that he’s more valuable to the Hawks than his return would be.
  16. There was blowback from Toews and Kane when they traded Hagel and made it clear the team was tanking. Trading Donato doesn’t make the Hawks better and I would argue that it sends a clear message that they aren’t competing next season either.
  17. A slew of young guys who haven’t yet appeared in an NHL game and none that appear ready to step in full time by next season. Foligno, Dickinson and Mikheyev’s contracts all expire after next season. Donato wouldn’t block anyone. Signing him to a three year extension and keeping his effort and energy around the young stars is imperative to changing the culture in Chicago back to a winning one. It’s a no brainer for me,
  18. Donato is more valuable to the Hawks than whatever he likely brings back in a trade.
  19. Not signing Donato to an extension will be a major blunder by this front office if we do indeed trade him.
  20. I love JR and he is my all-time favorite Hawk but he was absolutely being petty.
  21. Nazar backchecking on McDavid and taking away that scoring chance makes me inexplicably happy. Söderblom was outstanding tonight. Tough way to lose but I love the heart they showed.
  22. Extend Donato like yesterday!
  23. Anyone else think this kid bears a striking resemblance to Canelo Alvarez?
  24. You just gave up and accepted your fate. 😂
  25. The opinions on the trade haven't been kind. Davidson is doing fine. Richardson was considered a great hire. It didn't work out. The Hagel trade is still to be determined, although one or both of Moore and Boisvert will have to make a significant impact to offset that one. Other than that, what criticism can you possibly have? Were you happy with the last of the Bowman years and the mess he left?
