He jumped the market on Rinzel and so far that looks like a brilliant move. For that reason, I’m trusting him here. West could end up being a star. There’s a lot of Tage Thompson in his game.

The Hawks are no better off by keeping DeBrincat, Hagel, and Strome than they are today. They'd just be a different version of a bad team.

Davidson’s first draft was 2022. It hasn’t been 6 years for any of these kids. The jury is still out on Korchiniski, but Nazar is already an NHL player and Rinzel looks like he’ll be as well. I’m not sure what more you’re expecting here.

I like what Davidson has done tonight. I’m not concerned with what he gave up to move up to 29. He got the player he believes in.

With the 25th pick, we have selected Vaclav Nestrasil, a 6’6” winger.

I was hoping for Horcoff at 25.

I knew Bear wouldn’t make it to 25 but still bummed. One of my favorite prospects in this draft.

These kids are usually understandably awkward in front of the camera for these interviews but Hagens seems really comfortable.

Same, and I hope so. Frondell is the guy I want. The Islanders just got picks 16 and 17 from Montréal for Dobson. Looks like they are attempting to position themselves to move up for Hagens.
