  1. Most of the Cub hitters will be exposed by the Padre pitching. let’s see if they can handle the Cardinals today
  2. It’s unfortunate because he’s one of our better hitters right now and it would be nice if they both could play at the same time. But they can’t. In a perfect world, Tucker and Suzuki are playing well and Moises comes off the bench. But it’s been a long time since that has been happening.
  3. Unfortunately, he’s going to get benched for three games while Tucker is the DH.
  4. How about asking Jed if he regrets how he blew the trade deadline? Or if it was ownership that tied his hands? Then not allow him to give his usual word salad excuses.
  5. Any of the great cub beat writers directly ask Counsell why he left Shota in so long? Why he continues to PH for Busch?
  6. Brujan starting at 3B is a bold choice after Shaw finally got hot.
  7. Well written. the fan boys will not appreciate how realistic this post is.
  8. I am new to this site. The articles are very well written and fair. My question is this, while I agree with the thoughts of the author of this piece, why should we believe that Jed and this front office will do what it takes to improve the roster? Not only have they boxed themselves in and blocked their prospects, they have also shown and inability to be creative in their roster Construction. I fully expect to see 75% of the same roster run out there again next year. Just like what happened last season. if I am the owner, I would be asking why the front office wasted $230 million this year. But so far, Tom seems fine with it.
