    That’s what success equals to me now to end the season. We are not passing the Brewers but if we can get home field in round 1 that would be awesome.

    This year is an anomaly. You could argue in some past years the more playoff spots have increased the drama.

    If the Brewers were not having a historic year we’d be in first place and happier. The Cubs HAVE taken the step forward this year that we all wanted compared to 24 and 23. We are 20 over and in the playoffs. I’m very happy and excited about October.

    Has he always been a third baseman? I’m not sure a lot of people were “down” as much as unsure about his defense.

    We should feel fortunate to have such a big lead on the WC standings to allow us to be conservative. (Eg Taillon)

    There is zero reason why the Cubs can’t sweep. They are favored in every game. Just get the bats going and we should at least win the series.

    I disagree. He was not even close to the favorite for a long time. This is a big move based on his recent play and a few others not playing as well. He earned this.
