  1. Shows you how much I’ve paid attention to All Star games. This is the first one I watched in over a decade and the ONLY reason was the multiple Cubs.
  2. Each team gets to load the bases in the 10th. 3 ghost runners! Then, if it’s still tied after 10, it’s a tie.
  3. I thought it did. What does now? edit: Ok it’s regular season record.
  4. We all knew Schwarber would help the Cubs win another WS.
  5. Agreed - A joke that he is in it.
  6. What on the field results have proven you need to extend Jed now?
  7. I love the guy but we would be a decent underdog in a playoff game 1 matchup to all the big teams - Philly, LA, Detroit, Houston, etc and our guy has zero playoff experience. I just don’t consider him a playoff game 1 ace.
  8. The tigers have a true ace, the Cubs don’t. That is so so huge when it comes to the playoffs.
  9. Wow the Holliday family is probably not as happy as they thought they would be tonight.
  10. Does Vegas know something the pitching numbers don’t show? Why are the Yankees the favorite in this game? Do they think the Yanks lineup matches up well versus our starter?
  11. I don’t get why people are so touchy on this. I was just saying the bullpen has been pretty bad lately. I’m not talking about the projected main guys going forward I was simply making a statement. The bullpen has been bad lately.
  12. I was focused on the bullpen that has been pitching. In the last 12 and 1/3 innings, they have given up 16 runs.
  13. Fly the W but the bullpen has been terrible lately.
  14. I miss the game and see the score and check the box score hoping the two guys that mashed today would have been Happ and Shaw.
  15. The Brewers have perhaps the best starting rotation in baseball right now. Their rookie looks like Skenes. Woodruff looked awfully good in game 1 and they have other good options. It’s not going to be easy but we are vastly superior on the offensive side.
  16. .248 / .321 / .392 I should have said he has not been good compared to his standard.
  17. I’m sure it will change but Mookie Betts so far this year is a below average player. He just had a big error to let in two more runs.
  18. I worry more about losing the division than not getting the #1 seed. The Brewers have a legit rotation now if Woodruff is back to form.
  19. Let’s go Dodgers!! Wouldn’t it be nice to increase the lead over the next series as we head into NY for the last one before the ASB?
