I love the guy but we would be a decent underdog in a playoff game 1 matchup to all the big teams - Philly, LA, Detroit, Houston, etc and our guy has zero playoff experience.
I just don’t consider him a playoff game 1 ace.
Does Vegas know something the pitching numbers don’t show? Why are the Yankees the favorite in this game? Do they think the Yanks lineup matches up well versus our starter?
I don’t get why people are so touchy on this. I was just saying the bullpen has been pretty bad lately. I’m not talking about the projected main guys going forward I was simply making a statement. The bullpen has been bad lately.
The Brewers have perhaps the best starting rotation in baseball right now. Their rookie looks like Skenes. Woodruff looked awfully good in game 1 and they have other good options. It’s not going to be easy but we are vastly superior on the offensive side.
