I get that Jones is really good, but just one time I would love to be able to say that the hitters really have it today. We say it a lot about starting pitching.

It’s times like these I really miss Anthony Rizzo.
  3. JHBulls
Okay, 2 runs in that inning isn’t as bad as it could have been.
  4. JHBulls
Cody Bellinger just scorched that pitch off future Hall of Famer Jared Jones.
  5. JHBulls
    Yay, they are starting.

    Weather delay? BOO!

I think it’s just because of the coefficient ranking. Bundesliga will have the Top 5 in next seasons CL because Germany will finish within the Top 2 in coefficient, with Serie A. So if Dortmund finishes 5th in the league and wins the CL, they will qualify for next seasons CL by winning the competition. So the 5th spot (for Germany being in the Top 2 for coefficient ranking) will transfer to the 6th spot (if Dortmund finishes 5th and wins the CL) And no, I don’t believe the same would apply to La Liga (5th getting CL football if Real Madrid wins the competition) because La Liga will be outside the Top 2 for coefficient. I hope that all made sense.

Crazy to think that Dortmund could finish 5th in the league, win the CL, and Eintracht Frankfurt who are 15 points behind Dortmund will qualify for next seasons CL in 6th.
  9. JHBulls
    Yep, Neuer Buffon’d the CL.

. Solid Arrested Development reference. 😂

Thank horsefeathers for the pitch clock. 2 and a half hours sounds better than the 3+ hours that game would have taken.
  12. JHBulls
Real Madrid, eh? They always find a way.

So today will be a WhateverPadresScore-0 loss?
  14. JHBulls
AH, FFS!!! I step away for a minute and my prediction comes true.
  15. JHBulls
One pitch. One home run. Easy.
  16. JHBulls
    Ridiculous. WOW!
  17. JHBulls
There are runs right here. Absolutely stupid if they don’t cash in.

Until Jed reads your post and pays Fukudome $1000 a week to take some AB’s.

You just know that these next two arms will look like the best relievers in the world for 6 outs. It won’t help a damn bit though.

The offense will need to pick Shota up now. It’s an unfortunate thing, but Shota kept the Cubs in front through 7 innings.

MLB should really create a new award - “The mental health award.” For those heroes of the sport that pitch every 5 days in front of bad lineups.

PCA does love the bunt towards 1st base and try to beat the throw move. Bunt towards 3rd base ffs.
  23. JHBulls
Base runner just went full Jonah Lomu with that running style. He’s just not that fast. 😂
  24. JHBulls
The best job in the world must be earning lots of money in sport and absolutely sucking. I present you Ian Happ and his $20 million a year salary.
  25. JHBulls
Shota might not give up a run ever again.
