    Just goes to show everyone who said the cubs didn't need to sign another starting pitcher. Taillon being one of the three "trusted" starters right now is not a good look.

    I understood why the Cubs made the trade when they did but I still never liked it. Velasquez was always good whenever he got playing time. David Ross just wouldn't give him a shot.

    It was a good week for the Cubs. Love how Jordan Wicks and imanaga look so far. Also super cool how much coverage women's cbb is getting. Clark is a dominant force.

    Not the point of the article, but the Samford loss made me irrationally angry. I was up till midnight on thursday and that foul call ruined my entire week. Also excited for opening day. But mostly upset about samford.

    Cassie shouldn't be ahead of Horton but it's fair to say he can be ahead of shaw. At least for now. He's gonna be a 21 year old in triple a next year

    I actually sort of changed my mind since yesterday. I did a deeper dive on him and he's crushing it right now. Coming back from a devastating injury, he was always gonna struggle. But in the last 12 games his OPS is over .900. He's back to where he was at the end of last year. And that was a damn good player.

    I'm not sure about this. Canario is just another high strikeout, boom or bust bat. The lineup needs more consistency. But the team definitely needs more power. So I see where you're coming from. Not sure if they can get it this time of year.

    Fulmer has been fine for most of the year. I just can't trust him in the big moments. Would much rather have a true 8th inning guy like strop. Someone used to setting up a closer.

    This is a fun thing to point out. Still doesn't help my heart rate when the cubs would rather put Fulmer in the 8th than have an actual set up guy who costs a little more. At least Alzlay is pretty good.

    You can't tell me PCA isn't one of the 5 best outfielders this team has. You can't. Play your best players. Have him as a backup. But he should be with the cubs.

    Cubs need to be tired of losing. This team hasn't been a real contender since 17. Prove to the players and fans that you want to win. Stash seiya on the IL and bring up PCA. Do something to show that this team is for real.
