Exactly. It's easy to grin when your ship comes in.....ect. CC is unemotional. I'd prefer some fire, but maybe thats not great for baseball managers. -
Appreciate all you do and your reasoned responses. It's not easy being a Cub fan, and it's even worse if you can't just do something else when the outcome becomes obvious (which happens all too often). Having to drill down for a few hours after being subjected to yet another crappy Cubs performance has to be tough. Shaky pitching, and inadequate offense when it matters has been the downfall up to this point. We all know baseball is dumb and weird which is what makes it fun. Win game 3 and............. oh FFS who am I kidding????

Man, you are really optimistic about pitchers.

I think some of us could hit Shota at this point. It just rolls right on up there.

Shota pay no attention to the fan with the big bazooombas behind home plate.

Phillies Dodger game is boring.

I saw a news report and the reporter said the same thing. At the time Paul McCartney's "Band on the Run" was playing in the stadium during the clip. That is not 80s soft rock! Get off my horsefeathers lawn!
-
Kind of an understatement isn't it? I mean, that was a great horse until he broke his leg. Regardless of the reason, what he did "last year" is irrelevant with athletes who suffer serious / semi-serious injuries.

100%. Hitting goes a long way to take the heat off pitching. FFS Cubs, HIT THE horsefeathers BALL!
-
Blowouts happen, but 2 hits through 5?
-
It's all Danby's fault!
-
Not what I said, but whatever.

I'm sure they are not worried about facing anyone. Especially a team they went 7-0 against. No matter who it is or when it was.

I want Cleveland to win. Don't want Detroit and San Diego in for some reason.

I think you meant "fix" in front of it. See I used the edit feature!!!

It's been a while since I have been to Wrigley. Are the shadows still a factor with a 5 PM start in early October?
-
WTH? We are only down 3 runs. FFS.
-
0 runs makes everything else a moot point.

We are on the Cubs message board at 8 AM. We are all meatballs.
