Keller* Got too excited after that inning lol.

Can't really say enough good things about Palencia. He's been like the best closer in baseball the last month. I'm sure when the season started, Jed had a dozen names in mind for closer and Palencia was not one of them. Exciting to see a young player take his role on the team with his performance

Mason Miller: -0.2 WAR, 3.08 FIP Daniel Palencia - 0.6 WAR, 2.67 FIP

Benson is such a weird player. 1.6 WAR his rookie year, -1.4 his sophomore year, and will probably be a 2-3 war player this year
-
WOW lol hell yea!

I know that extensions for relievers are generally frowned upon but I would not mind a 2 or 3 year extension for Kepler. They've unlocked something with him and I don't see it suddenly changing

5 duds in a row for the best offense in baseball

PCA is a video game

Today is the best I've seen Brown in a long while. Should stick with this opener routine for him for the time being.

2nd time seeing both Abbott and Lodolo in a week, yet they are just as dazed and confused as last time
-
bloop and a blast time

Not having Shota really sucks. This game had 7 IP, 1 ER written all over it
-
That was such a buzz kill

The Reds are not a bad team, I personally think they are better than the Cardinals But yeah horsefeathers the Reds

Rockies have played us tough. That win against the Yankees has them vibing lol

When I said it's a shame what happened to them, I wasn't trying to paint Russell as a victim. He's human scum. I meant it from the Cubs perspective. It's a shame that they had a budding superstar at that position and overnight, they have to make other arrangements because he turned out to be a maniac.
-
his wife cheated on him, became public and ugly, took a leave from the Cubs if I recall and never came back
-
It's a shame what happened to Zobrist and Russell. That team had 1 more chip in them
-
Tucker/Suzuki/PCA/Amaya > Rizzo/Bryant/Baez/Contreras
-
They should just bring Kasper back
-
They both are horrendous lol
-
Yusei Kikuchi is a pretty solid upgrade and realistic, if the Cubs are willing to absorb the contract.

UGH he hit that right on the screws. Lefty on lefty too
