I don’t think anyone is anointing him a hall of famer either. Its just a little odd how hard some are trying to highlight some flaw in his game, like hes a 22 year old with a 126 wRC+. Yes he will have some warts but its funny to see how weirdly defensive some are when its brought up that Hoyer might end up losing this trade (theres still the rest of this season to go so thats a premature statement too) its ok to admit hes having a good year so far

Smith has been very good thus far, I know a lot were expecting him to fail because apparently spring training is completely meaningless but he definitely has been impressive so far. Last time I checked his numbers in the outfield were good too
