True but theres a surplus of catchers on the team right now. Padres want MLB talent, this is a strict win now move and you dont dip into your prospect pool. 4 years of Amaya for half seasons of Cease and Suarez is a bit steep but you gotta pay up for talent

Good thing i stopped watching the game in the 3rd. Crazy how the Cubs continue to get lapped by a team that has a third of its payroll. Its almost as if its an issue with the FO….
