Boras must really enjoy working on New Years day.
  2. Hortonhearsawho
We haven't had much else to talk about this off-season.

I'm team sign good players whether that player is Imai, Bregman etc I just want to see the Cubs add good players to their roster and improve the team. But I'm not particularly attached to one name as their are a lot of good players out there.
  4. Hortonhearsawho
In theory this should be wrapped up today but it is Boras so he might have other ideas lol.
  5. Hortonhearsawho
Yeah they definitely know who's going to win the bidding by now, but leave it to Boras to try and milk that team for every extra penny that he can get.
  6. Hortonhearsawho
It appears it's down to these 3 teams for his market.
  7. Hortonhearsawho
If we get outbid by the White Sox then that means we had no interest in Imai.
  8. Hortonhearsawho
We need tmz to head out to Newport Beach to see if they can catch Imai singing Go Cubs Go at a local restaurant or bar there today. 😂

The Shota signing came out 3 days before the deadline according to Bleacher Nation. That's when most of these deals get announced a couple days before the deadline not minutes before the deadline.

We will likely hear something later in the day today, tomorrow is not out of the realm of possibility but I think people would rather enjoy their new years eve instead. At this point they already know who they are choosing anyways so no need to drag it out another day.

If you scroll all the way down you get this correction. So that title seems off. Correction: An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated that Tatsuya Imai did not have any formal offers from MLB teams. It remains uncertain what level of offers the Japanese star currently has received.

1 and done for the Bears in the playoffs with this defense.
  13. Hortonhearsawho
    Those drops fml.
  14. Hortonhearsawho
The only benefit of that play is they left us time to score.
  15. Hortonhearsawho
I don't feel great about only getting a field goal there
  16. Hortonhearsawho
    It's a miracle it's a defensive stop!
  17. Hortonhearsawho
    That's just embarrassing
  18. Hortonhearsawho
I agree it would take a turnover or maybe a big penalty or two on the Niners offense.
  19. Hortonhearsawho
    That's asking too much
  20. Hortonhearsawho
No defense has been played in this game lol.
  21. Hortonhearsawho
They are missing 2 of their best blockers and the Bears still get no pressure. Bears are cooked.
  22. Hortonhearsawho
We are gonna have to win a shoot out to have any shot since our defense isn't going to stop them.
  23. Hortonhearsawho
It's easy to look good against the Bears defense.
  24. Hortonhearsawho
They still need another infielder but 1B isn't a huge worry anymore.
  25. Hortonhearsawho
This is going to be a long game.
