  1. i want to see a new experimental lineup in which we put the crap guys in between coghlan, rizzo, bryant, and soler and the crap guys just always sac bunt when they come up. even if no one is on base.
  2. You think the problem is the lack of Maddon telling them to score runs? Go on... maddon is a pretty [expletive] manager if he's forgotten to tell the guys to score runs and has instead emphasized striking out with risp
  3. I blame the mobile site. WHAT IF THE MOBILE SITE IS THE NEW UMFAN STARTING AN INJURY THREAD
  4. somebody figure out what the cubs record is going to have to be in the remaining games in order to get to 88 wins if we lose every game left against the cardinals
  5. oh god brett would be a delicious convert
  6. i say yep what a concept i could use a little fuel myself
  7. rain knocked out my satellite, please tell me you guys are joking about lester injuring himself
  8. take lester out, save bullets for games that count (next year when we can score runs)
  9. going to be really, really hard for russell to do much when he's already running at the throw to get to second
  10. depends on how fast i can get my pilots' license
  11. cardinal fans will get extra joy out of bryant's mistake starting the rally so this is how it must be
  12. why do we ever watch these [expletive] games
  13. why do we ever watch these [expletive] games
  14. we should have just done two safety squeezes with montero and castro
  15. kinda baller that the cardinals are conceding the run
  16. I'm not sure how accurate LOB% is going back, but per Fangraphs the Cardinals have the highest LOB% as a staff since...ever. No team has ever cracked 80% and the Cardinals are at 81.7%. So pretty much the opposite of what they did 2 years ago when they had like a .400 average with RISP they mean the other way (pitchers, not hitters) Oh I know but they're both as I see them, fluky clutch stats. Like it's not a skill to be stupidly good with RISP or stupidly good at leaving runners on. But they seem to do it. ahhh, i see how you meant that now APOLOGIES

  18. Are both teams off Thursday? ETA: They are. Cardinals are @Pittsburgh on Thursday doubleheader against two different teams
  19. i think soler was wearing a george michael muscle suit under his turtleneck, he looks way skinnier with the bare arms now
  20. another very good swing from soler. just missed it.
