I'm not sure how accurate LOB% is going back, but per Fangraphs the Cardinals have the highest LOB% as a staff since...ever. No team has ever cracked 80% and the Cardinals are at 81.7%. So pretty much the opposite of what they did 2 years ago when they had like a .400 average with RISP they mean the other way (pitchers, not hitters) Oh I know but they're both as I see them, fluky clutch stats. Like it's not a skill to be stupidly good with RISP or stupidly good at leaving runners on. But they seem to do it. ahhh, i see how you meant that now APOLOGIES
