it's so weird to watch the cubs have a guy come up with a man on second and two outs and just expect a hit

Why I don't talk baseball with people I know
treebird replied to Sammys Boombox's topic in General Baseball Talk
a new guy at work mentioned how well the cubs were doing and i was like YAY NEW CUBS BUDDY. we talked for maybe ninety seconds before i said something about how all we needed to do was make the playoffs to have a shot and he immediately replied that the cubs were at least three or four years away from being actual contenders. I've been watching youtube videos for advice on how to properly slash tires ever since. -

That was an awesome story. SHARE THE STORY PLZ Sutcliffe was in Theo's box earlier in the game, on one of the borderline pitches(maybe the Pence walk?), Theo pulled up an app that showed the pitch was in the zone and he lost his mind for a moment. i sure hope the app is twitter and that theo just loves @CubsUmp
