Matt, I agree wholeheartedly with this sentiment. The Cubs desperately need a few “stuff” guys who miss bats (while they rely on their excellent defense to bail out their stable of soft tosser “pitch to contact” guys). I especially like the ide of rebuilding the back end of the bullpen with a few more stuff guys (Morejon please!). With Palencia, Webb, and “Little Z” in the fold along with Maton??? or Rolison plus a few long relievers bouncing between AAA and MLB, the Cubs desperately need reliable hard throwers to round things out. Given their injury issues and complete failure to develop pitchers internally, they may need 3 such pitchers (even if, God forbid, it costs money). As for the rotation, good luck rebuilding that mess from the collection of spare parts they have left. That rotation is screaming for an ace/anchor (like Skubal) who they will never sign.
