Just flipped through the local AM channels on my lunch break and 670 the score had said Hendry doesn't expect a decision on Fuku until 24-48 hours from now. The Roberts deal is being discussed still, no names said on this report as to who the Cubs would give up. The wait continues. -

yet another case of "let's pile on the newbie". you'd think it would get old (but some people just can't help it) rchap's not a newbie. no way, i dont buy it Is he staying up late to make the decision? Is he in the states? It's 1:24 in the afternoon in Tokyo. Ok, so he has a little lunch then gives Hendry a call to say he will fly out tonight(tomorrow, or whatever) to take a physical here. Sounds fine to me.

no way, i dont buy it Is he staying up late to make the decision? I hope his decision is made after 6:30am central time when I let the dog out and turn on ESPN. UGH, I said ESPN and update. ESPN is the only sports station in Chicago that has up to the minute sports ticker. Comcast always has what they call it sportsrise but its pretty much the same thing as the telecast the night before.

I had to make sure it was Dusty talking Dusty has always talked of playing young guys. Exactly, been there...done that. Or not done that I should say. Rookies are like tadpoles. You want them to succeed in feeding, so their parents put them in situations they can succeed in. "See that tad over there, that's my boy. I put him by that seaweed so he can feed better over there." Thats like putting in Bellhorn to face a righty so that when he succeeds we know he caught that food.

This post gets the dav(e) stamp of approval. Bruce sightings turn into press conferences on here, and it seems 100x worse in the offseason. I know everyone wants to get all of their questions asked. It would be nice if people would read the other threads before posting them in unrelated threads.

Jim Caple on BBTN just said that the Cubs would offer Prior a contract, not sure on the $, but if he does go on the trading block the Rangers would be #1 in line to get him, then the Padres. Interesting.
