One of those teams could trade down. Man I'm hoping for Floyd Sorry, I was assuming no trade down. If that's how it goes down and the Bears don't trade down, I think they'll take Trufant. No nickel in the first, but after shea, it wouldnt surprise me.

The top QBs in this draft are basically the same quality as Jake Locker so I had no interest. Taking a QB in the top 10 this year would have been as bad a pick as the Titans' made when taking Locker. Locker is a special brand of bad. And he was Geno before Geno - big arm, good athleticism, suspect accuracy. Locker's been held back by poor coaching, but on draft day they were 2 very similar QBs. you have a very high regard for jake locker.

trade down for anybody, buffalo did right after them and got some options. Geno is going to be a stud and he's a difference-maker.

Short of moving up for Johnson it was the best move they could make. He'll help whoever their QB is to stay alive all year. palmer is not the answer. the cardinals are in the proverbial QB wilderness. And none of the guys at the top of this draft will lead them out of the wilderness. Or if they do, you can still take most any of them in the 2nd round. I like the later guys (Bray, Manuel, Glennon) as much as the earlier guys. they could have traded down. and i don't know what you have against smith, he's going to make one team very happy.
