    Italy got lucky on that one. The fact that Vieri was even being considered was a total farce. They'll be much better off with Lucarelli (or inzaghi) on the roster than Vieri. Also, Luca Toni, who will be starting up front, has scored 30 goals in Serie A this year, the most in 65 years or something like that. I got my #22 Onyewu WC jersey from an ebay seller in Thailand yesterday. Sweet on the jersey. I'm trying to track down a Dempsey kit myself. Vieri isn't a good player anymore, so I'll agree that it's a blessing for them that he got hurt. I still don't fear Italy as much as I fear the Czechs, though. Also, there's speculation that O'Brien could be replaced on the US roster by Steve Ralston as early as Monday. I got mine from this guy on ebay. he'll customize it with whatever name and number you want (EDIT: looks like he doesn't have those auctions anymore, but there are some Dempsey jerseys listed on there).     I don't think that was Baker's fault. Just because a manager calls for a sac bunt doesn't mean you try and bunt at balls out of the zone. Even Marshall didn't do that. That was another example of bad baseball. This time it happens to be Cedeno showing incompetence at the plate by obeying his manager wanting him to bunt with two on and nobody out while down by five. fixed

    What's your opinion of Marshall bunting here? IT's alright. I almost spit up my diet pepsi when cedeno squared around tho. where's your diet pepsi now? tossed it at the tv after the double play. put the cap on first?

    What proof? The result of calling the bunt was a guy who got behind early and GIDP. He was wild. If you never call the bunt you could easily have gotten Cedeno into a hitter's count and the result would be completely different. I was being facetious. I know there's 9 million reasons why my statement is dumb, but if you take what happened at face value, as I suspect Dusty will, yoiu'd get the same conclusion I did.
