I can never accuse my husband of being too superstitious because I straight up drove to the store in the 5th inning to get stuff for nachos. Turned on the oven and Zobrist got a hit.

The good guys haven't lost in the post-season when I've been out of town (it's a three game sample size, but still), and I'm in NYC until Thursday. LET'S GO CUBS!

My cat is not a fan of playoff baseball.

I've been around here lurking since the summer of 2003, which feels like a lifetime ago. I live in Portland now but we flew to Chicago to watch Game 2 of the NLDS with my dad and brothers, lifelong Cubs fans all. Husband is a Dodgers fan who knows what's good for him :) I still can't believe this is actually happening.
