  1. For sure. To be a 23 year old rookie pulling this off is astounding.
  2. Horton's run topped Jake's 2015 and Lesters 2016 https://x.com/WatchMarquee/status/1959469051379662909?t=esqK3L1QKEgmRE1SQJBGYw&s=19
  3. Cade is going all Arrieta on us. This is one impressive run he is on.
  4. Game rained out. What the horsefeathers. Kepley looks like the future leadoff hitter. 2 more walks and his 9th steal already.
  5. Theyre gonna learn not to play Kepley so shallow. He's got some pop for sure.
  6. Just watched the highlights and Bagents gw td pass was pretty sick
  7. Man we need those guys to wake up. All of our big bats are teetering on the 800 line. The slump has gone on enough.
  8. Bagent
  9. I was asking if Paredes and Smith+ would have landed Crochet. And if we had kept Bellinger and not traded for Tucker, he only cost 10m more than Tucker.
  10. Would Paredes and Smith+ have opened the door for Crochet? Something to consider.
  11. They need to win the majority of the division games for sure to have any shot.
  12. O's have pounced and locked up Basallo for 8/65 with an option. With escalators it would max at 88m.
  13. Excited for tonight but damn that secondary against Mahomes and Co. could get ugly. I hope Booker shows out and makes his life miserable.
  14. A few factors: A lot of fans are not content with a WC and they are really antsy and upset about the division. They did give up a lot, in hindsight, to open that space up for Tucker. Tucker has a 13 wRC+ this month. He took 2 days off and came back to another 0-fer with multiple groundouts. They are skeptical that he figured anything out in the cages. Bellinger has bounced back to 2023 form, and the fanbase absolutely loved him that year. He was versatile and obviously hit really well. If Bellinger hit in 2024 like he did in 2023 then Jed might not have made that trade in the first place. They dont believe the Cubs will sign him. They dont like trading a 1st round pick. The Cubs would have kept Smith in the minors for a lot more development than the Astros. Fans definitely have not checked in on Cam for a while, I am sure. They could have put together a package for a TORP with Paredes and Smith, possibly.
  15. Theres just a lot of hitters doing absolutely nothing right now. I wouldn't mind seeing Tucker go to the IL and call up Alcantara to play CF while PCA grabs some bench for a bit. I just dont know if these guys are going to be able to play their way through the slump.
  16. 1st inning Seiya gets a meatball sinker and GIDP. 2nd inning McGuire jumps on a sinker below the zone with the bases loaded to end the inning. 4th inning Dansby jumps on a 1st pitch sinker to end the inning with 2 on. 5th inning Tucker lunges for a sinker a foot outside on a full count. Would have had the bases loaded with 0 out. Seiya also walked after so who knows what might have happened. 8th inning Castro chases a sinker low with 2 on and 1 out. Caissie follows by jumping on a 1st pitch sinker to end the threat.
  17. They really fell into the sinker trap today. No restraint shown.
  18. I cant take Seiya right now. Just go cry about all the good calls that are being levied against you.
  19. horsefeathers idiot. That ball wasnt even hit well. 76 EV. No excuse to be doubled off on that.
  20. It's amazing that we didnt bench Busch and Seiya Please bring in the guy who took this giy deep last night.
  21. I dont even have tmobile. I've been using my brothers account for several years lol
