  1. Im not sure about Nico. Feels like the league/market would value him around 6/140-150? The bat is good but his carrying tools dont tend to get major deals. Idk, I guess I could live with 8/225 for Bichette. I kind of feel like he will eventually settle for a little less.
  2. Theres no way I would pay that dude 300. Extend Nico.
  3. Tucker and the belief that he doesn't like baseball
  4. They have shut down the run in the first half and we need to change that. Its good that we have made the adjustments but we absolutely need to succeed at playing our game to beat them IMO. Very worried about the secondary being able to keep up with their many weapons. We need the DL to get consistent pressure.
  5. Bellinger essentially played as well as Tucker last year and doesn't have nearly the same price tag. I could see Jed wanting him in RF and to fill in across the OF when needed as well.
  6. Hernandez is gonna have a big year, hes primed. But who cares this deal is awesome and sets us up to make fa splash.
  7. This team has won too many coin flip games this year. Could easily be 2002 all over again next year, or a season like the Vikings or Commanders just had. Im enjoying it while it lasts and I love having this offense, but Poles and Johnson have a tall task this offseason continuing to shape the roster.
  8. This is why you should chill the hell out. Jed had a vision and understands there are several different avenues to a successfully offseason. Him not blowing his wad on the "top FA" does not mean he doesn't have a quality plan. Jed arguably had the best offseason of all POBO last year and this winter has not been as bad as you've made it out to be. In Jed's eyes, he missed on probably 2 targets so far and theres plenty left to really put the team in a great spot.
  9. Id rather make this deal than sign Cease. Caissie's entire value will come from his bat, just watch. And every pitchers arm is about to explode.
  10. Tight end Colston Loveland and wide receiver Luther Burden III came on strong to close out the Bears’ 2025 regular season, leading the team with 597 and 481 receiving yards, respectively, since Week 9. But as good as they were, Trapilo provided arguably even more value. Since he became a starter at left tackle in Week 12, the second-rounder allowed just 13 quarterback pressures. His 77.7 PFF pass-blocking grade over the span was better than all but that of Chiefs first-rounder Josh Simmons. That helped quarterback Caleb Williams work from a clean pocket 64.8% of the time during that stretch — the 13th-best rate in the NFL.
  11. FWIW Nagy earned a playoff win and got totally robbed
  12. Yeah I agree with you. They knew his number and figured he was worth the rental price and didnt even worry about making any overtures because they knew they werent close.
  13. Thunder 6-6 since their impervious start. Lost to the Hornets by 27 tonight.
  14. Burden went 15 weeks without dropping any and then had crushing drops in back to back weeks. Total bummer.
  15. Something that really hasn't been brought up but my dad just texted it to me: Caleb is the first Bears QB since 78 to start all of the games over a 2 year span. His durability has been remarkable. Bagent has thrown 6 passes in those seasons. We got ourselves an Ironman potentially.
  16. Who the horsefeathers is his guy? Maybe he doesn't have a guy. Sure doesn't seem like he has a guy.
  17. I think if Burden catches that pass, its a first down (or 2nd and very short) and maybe we have them on their heels a bit, might have been Ben's thinking. Then he'd call a run or two. But the run game was not that effective yesterday, either.
  18. And with the Brewers owning us for a decade with a payroll 60% of ours I wouldnt either.
  19. Per Biggs, the 11 QBs in the playoffs that have playoff experience have combined for 7 road playoff wins, and Rodgers has 5 if them. The rest are 2-21. That's freaking nuts.
  20. This is one of the craziest stats in sports. It completely defies comprehension.
  21. Why are teams so easily able to cut off Caleb's scrambling lanes lately?
