    Dansby doesn't hit the ball hard enough. Hitting to CF is what opponents want him to do. It will result in a lot of cans of corn. Occasionally he will hit a few over the fence, but he needs to pull more hard fly balls, especially the sweet spot in LCF. He should really just spend all winter with a machine pumping sliders.

    Seriously though, I don't think I've ever seen a team so butthurt over a player only staying for one year as I have seen from the Red Sox. What gives? There are seriously hurt feelings that he didnt go back to Boston.

    Sure but hes not that. His fastball sucks and makes his secondaries play down. It was a lame pick and thats what often happens with lame picks. Hes on the bubble for sure. Totally an afterthought at this point.

    I think his best throw, from a technical standpoint + leverage situation, was the throw to Walker. That throw has been lost among the great throws to DJ.

    They need to start drafting and signing more athletic and toolsy players to really get the love on these lists. They are probably a little too conservative, prioritizing potential to make the majors over potential to make an all star game. Although their approach has worked fabulously, so they likely won't alter it. And thats fine. Id like to see bigger swings but they clearly have a great grasp on a players potential. Cant argue with the results.
