He swings too much and makes contact with a lot of pitches that he shouldn't. Extremely low walk rate. You really should start delving into fangraphs someday.

Didn't this kid hit like .700 in his senior yr of HS? Its too bad he hasn't developed a disciplined approach yet. My expectations- even though he will probably hardly play - are super low.
  3. We Got The Whole 9
Another outing where a guy who doesn't strike many out just completely mows this lineup down.
  4. We Got The Whole 9
    Come the horsefeathers on Colin
  5. We Got The Whole 9
I think several teams would pony up particularly the Brewers and Dodgers IMO.
  6. We Got The Whole 9
    Does Pete catch that ball?
  7. We Got The Whole 9

  10. We Got The Whole 9
    Was that another 5-star catch?
  11. We Got The Whole 9
Before 5/22 this year he had 2 multi-walk games in his career. He notched his 10th since that day tonight. Thats unreal.
  12. We Got The Whole 9
Pete is gonna horsefeathers around and cycle again lol
  13. We Got The Whole 9
Of course Bregman ends the inning being late on a 93 meatball
  14. We Got The Whole 9
That catch at the wall broke the record for 5-star catches. In essentially less than 2 full years LOL
  15. We Got The Whole 9
This game was over when Bregman signed the contract
  16. We Got The Whole 9

Agreed on Mo, pretty much agree with the whole post. I expect Rojas to be a trump card in most conversations for a controlled pitcher. If we're willing to include him I don't see many of those bad teams being able to pass. As far as Mo goes, it sure does not seem like the Cubs expect his defense to be very playable. I'm expecting them to trade him.
  22. We Got The Whole 9
How in the world was that not an inside the park granny
  23. We Got The Whole 9
I love this time of year when nobody of significance has been traded yet and still people want to crucify the GM for sitting on their hands
  24. We Got The Whole 9
    Save us from Ian Happ
  25. We Got The Whole 9
I would not trade him, id see what Amaya would fetch and give him the backup role now. He looks like a monster hitter.
