  1. What a crap inning, especially the walk to Pinckney
  2. Reverse slider. This guy apparently has great pitching aptitude but cant harness his stuff when the lights come on. I really didn't think his issue was that he was lacking pitches. He now throws, 7? Id rather he pare them down and master commanding them.
  3. Odd is an extremely flattering adjective to use
  4. He does strike people out. It just hasn't happened with the Cubs and they need to figure out why. It's not exciting but I think we'd be happy with 20%. Up until a couple years ago he was running high-20s. What changed?
  5. The thing that gives me utmost confidence in him moving forward is that he absolutely mashes offspeed and breaking pitches. If he maintains his new approach hes at least a 130/7 war guy IMO.
  6. Harrison getting bombed on and sitting 91-93 in the 5th ❤️
  7. Damn, Zeferjahn not really getting the job done
  8. Getting an MRI for forearm tightness
  9. Good. No roster ramifications. Get him some experience in a pennant race.
  10. Lester was asked to build an ultimate roster from his championship teams and he took Lowell over KB at 3B. In the comments someone says that Lester revealed in a podcast that he didnt trust KB's defense at 3B. His defense never really killed us at 3B, right? I always thought he was just fine, he graded well, but obviously only played there a few years before moving to the OF. But I never cringed at him being there in the lineup. Was he actually that bad?
  11. If Kepley somehow has regular playing time available when he reaches the Majors im offering him a Albies/Lara extension without question.
  12. That's really good news if that is all it turns out to be
  13. All he does is walk and slug Either over the last 7, 15, or 30 games his OPS is at least .930. Over the last 7 hes at 345/457/621 What is this funk lol
  14. Its insane that they just kept pitching to Jac. They refuse to ever back down. Some time I would love for Counsell to throw up the 4 and go after the next guy. This was a very frustrating game that felt like we should have won.
  15. Look at this defense from Ayers https://x.com/i/status/2086134184259813408
  16. When I read something like this I'm thinking torn ligaments. What happened?
  17. Bregman seriously pulled a Rajai. That has to be one of the most improbable homers of the year across the league considering the field, the match up, and the contact
  18. Civale deserves a lot of credit for his 3 IP. Gave us a shot.
  19. Pete had his worst AB in weeks and still won the game because of it
