Living in LA, the game would be blocked out for me if not for ESPN so I'm thankful. If its also on the Doyers network we are screwed it will be blacked out on espn

Yes, ESPN will of course be showing it. They're even running promos for it already. And yeah, it would be nice if Len could be involved. Live in LA it better not be blacked out. I damn near bought a plane ticket but once they split up the banner and ring ceremony that priced me out of that option

MLB Opening Day at Tampa seems like poor planning. That place is the most dreary atmosphere in the whole league.

I really wish MLB would have all teams playing today. I dont like a staggered opening day. Just feels a little off. Opening Day should allow for maximum fan participation so starting the season on a Saturday or Sunday makes the most sense. I cancelled my MLB Extra Innings package this year because I will be out of the country fro 2 months and didnt want to pay for something I am not using for that time. That being said any websites out there that might aid in my watching from my laptop would be greatly appreciated

So does anyone think that the Cubs will give rings to previous select players like Billy or Ryne? Also will players like Matusz get them as well? I have read in the past even if someone played 1/3 of an inning during the season they are usually given a ring.

Baseball needs more of this (Latin flare) if he does this in June his next ab is a ball in ribs. Baseball can get pretty boring and the Latin approach is a breath of fresh air. Their fans too.
