  1. Why are you acting like Ian Stewart is some scrub?
  2. And Theriot helps him by swinging at ball 4 twice.
  3. SEC Freshman of the Year out of Ole Miss in....2001 I think. Was the Rockies 2nd round pick in 2004. He was also Eli Manning's backup QB at Ole Miss. Which is funny because Todd Helton was Peyton's backup at Tennessee for a while. Smith was also the guy that Papelbon (from Mississippi State) struck out to end the WS last year. Prior to the Fukudome acquisition, he was a guy I was hoping the Cubs would explore as a RF option. He's put up good numbers in the minors. Didn't he go yard in the 1 game playoff against SD last season?
  4. Wait, I thought Smith got 3rd when the ball went out of play?
  5. That was me, but he isn't my friend. Just some dude I know. I lol'd.
  6. Okay now don't walk the pitcher Marqueef.
  7. I',m starting to think he will be on the roster the whole year. Of course he will.
  8. Almost as stupid as the Rangers keeping Saltalamacchia up but only starting him half the time so they can get Gerald lair at-bats.
  9. Huh? He was asking about the triple play, not the triple steal. (And in this case it should be credited as a caught stealing and an error on who threw the ball. i didnt see the 2nd post that talked about the TP or hear about the triple play. they were probably ruled as steals because the runner on third beat the throw home, but the bobbling of the ball enabled the other two runners to steal 2nd and 3rd. But you realize that the original post had nothing to do with a triple steal, right?
  10. I'm sure his pitchers love this. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3415430
  11. You should upload them, I'd love to see them. They had the highlights available on mlb.com for awhile but they don't work anymore. Is that legal? Either way, I started recording from the time the Cubs clinched. I still enjoy watching the Sosa HR from game 1 of the NLCS, especially since I was there. You could just upload them and send them to me. I really want to see the first 3 games of the NLCS.
  12. Mark FREAKING Derosa. Tremendous. Cubs fan wanted wanted Roberts because he leads off...look, I GET that....but dude is absolutely RAKING. Ri dic u lous. Unbelievable. Tremendous.
  13. The Yankees don't play their best SS at SS either. You wanna argue with all their rings? Yeah, I'm sure that's the reason they have those rings.
  14. Seriously, I keep telling myself I shouldn't get so stressed over it but I can't help it.
