  1. .877 OPS this season. I'll happily take that from my second baseman. Excellent production.
  2. If we lose a game 2-1 with Marquis starting I'm going to flip out.
  3. I'm calling a multiple walk inning for Marquis now that Lou just praised his strike throwing tonight.
  4. The Cubs are dangerously close to not having anybody with an OPS over .900.
  5. I feel like I'm watching 60 Minutes do a piece on Joe Torre, the mass murderer. Doesn't get any better than the helmet falling out of Jones' hand, and Furcal "rolling" across the screen. I liked it when he bunted the ball and it just fell straight down and then flew off the screen.
  6. What the hell is going on? The music is creeping me out.
  7. It's only a matter of time before Marquis implodes and this game is out of reach with the way the offense is playing.
  8. Soto's defense has looked pretty bad as of late.
  9. Joe Morgan is already getting on my nerves.
  10. I honestly think Lee is on the down-side of his career. He will be 33 in September and it isn't just his offense that has taken a hit this year. He is still an above average defensive player, but he is making a lot more errors than he has in the past. doesnt go from being the offensive star of the team hitting .330 with an OPS over 1.000 to a .220 hitter all of the sudden. Umm, 2005 was 3 years ago. Yeah, but earlier this season was a month ago. Yeah, because no player in MLB history has ever started off the season red hot and then come back to earth.

  12. Back to 2.5 games up.
  13. The White Sox are so winning that division.
  14. That actually increases the chances of Sabathia becoming available since it decreases the chances of the Indians being a contender late in the season.
  15. Just think 2007 Cobs. Well no offense, but hopefully I can get an opinion from somebody who is actually objective.
  16. So I just woke up (crazy night)... how bad did they look?
