I know you're kidding. But I'm actually glad. It goes both ways He's warmed up already, whats another 12 or so pitches? I think appearances is just as important as total innings when looking at a relievers workload. Using him for 1 out kind of pisses me off. If he's only going to be used for one guy, then don't use him at all. Basically they failed to give Marmol a day off and didn't even really benefit from using him. ??? There were 2 on in a 2 run game. They definitely benefited from it. Ok I worded that poorly. They benefited from it, but not greatly. They got one out. The odds are in favor of them getting that out no matter what reliever was brought in.

That Derosa RBI may end up costing this game. Marmol probably would have been in the game for the 8th if it was only a 2 run game.

Can't blame him for swinging at strike 2, either Why? It was still way worse than the first called strike, and it's not like he was protecting with 2 strikes... he was still up in the count.
