So I just got home and checked gameday right as Johnson was driving in the winning run. What the hell happened? I mean I've looked over gameday and saw a few of the highlights, but holy hell. Was Marmol really that bad? How did Harden look? Is it safe to say Theriot is the worst defensive shortstop in the league now?

Might want to fix the typo in the title. I'm assuming you meant to say "seek" but I initially read it as "Tex may seal 10 yr deal". But yeah, that's ridiculous and he'll never ever get that. I know we say that a lot when guys ask for crazy money, only to get it 2 months later, but 230 for Mark Teixeira? Give me a break.

It's really not a big deal to let him run the bases. It's a COMPLETELY unneccessary risk. There is a chance he hurts himself running the bases. If you take him out, there is no chance. There is nothing to gain by leaving him in, but there is everything to lose. And now he's bringing in Marmol again. Lou, you're an idiot.
