So if you would have, just theoretically, the pitcher batting between Lee and Ramirez, it wouldn't matter? Let's not take it to stupid extremes here. That doesn't even need to be said. But you said it doesn't matter. So where is the line drawn?
It's pretty disappointing. I really thought they'd be pumped up about this series. You can tell by the way they're playing and their body language that they are not confident whatsoever. They look scared.
Why is Derrek Lee still hitting third? There's no point in asking or answering that question. You don't make changes to an offense thats been dominating as much as the Cubs have been. If you can make the offense even better, you do. Lou certainly doesn't have a problem bouncing everybody else around. Lee is like the 5th best hitter on the team this season, he shouldn't be hitting third.
