    They never could afford him to begin with. The guys looking at a record shattering contract for a pitcher, maybe even for anyone. His first choices are the Dodgers, Angels, and Giants, and at the off chance that none of them want him, the Yankees will offer him something ridiculous, especially now that they're done throwing money down the toilets known as Pavano and Giambi. It wouldn't surprise me if the Brewers spend some money this offseason with thier big attendance numbers.

    This is like the 5th straight shellacking of Webb/Haren, 4 of those coming in big games against the Dodgers. The Dodgers are a pretty good example of how quickly thnigs can (and probably will) turn around for the CUbs. 8 straight losses right into 7 straight wins.

Umm, they have fireworks after every home win, its not a big deal lol. even worse Why's that? fireworks in baseball? I honestly can not tell if your being sarcastic or not. At first I was just being an ass.... but you really don't have a problem with fireworks after every win? No? Why would I? I was under the impression that most die hard baseball fans consider fireworks cheesy and lame. To each his own I guess
