So will the overly-optimistic people finally stop with the "it's just a slump" garbage? This is not just a sump anymore. This team is clearly feeling the pressure and they clearly are not handling it well. The offense has been pathetic and now the back end of the bullpen is choking. Yeah we'll probably still make the playoffs, but if they don't turn it around before then, will it really matter? If they can't handle the pressure of facing non-playoff teams in early September, how are they going to handle the pressure of the playoffs?
