    i kind of feel like that about when i was at game 5 of the NLCS when the cubs went up 3-1 in the series. the stadium was all cubs fans and at the time, we thought we had basically just won the pennant and were going to the world series. i'll never forget what the place was like after the game. the tunnels were completely swarming with cubs fans just yelling and high fiving everyone that walked past. people were doing the hop/high five thing that sosa/alou/lofton did in the outfield after wins too. it was completely insane. craziest sports moment of my life, even though it ended up being meaningless. This is so angsty and stupid and just flat-out wrong. I swear, some Cubs fans don't deserve a WS. this doesn't even really make sense. are you telling me how i feel about that season? or are you saying that the horrible collapse after game 4 didn't take away any of the impact that the previous games had?

    i turned the cubs on for like 15 minutes tonight, which was the first time ive actually watched them in a couple weeks i think. it took about 2 minutes of watching to see lou put marmol in with the bases loaded, then another 10 minutes to see loud bunt with one of our lone hot hitters to put a guy in RISP for our 2 black holes in the lineup. looooouuuuuuu

    not really anything new here. i think we all knew that hendry would never fire lou. hendry needs to be the one to fall first.

    hmm hmm, i guess thats what it could be. i was wondering wtf that was. the only thing i could think of was that it was supposed to be a swimming motion since they were moving onto to face the sharks, but i figured that was too lame/cheesy.

    I'll add Silva to that sentiment too. If someone had told me all 3 of those guys would be producing at a high level, I would have thought the Cubs would be having a hell of a hot start. Baseball is a strange game indeed. Yeah it's pretty annoying. Three of our starters have been pretty good and most of the starters on offense are doing pretty good. Why the hell aren't we winning? the cubs have been outscored by 14 runs

    - gold medal - named best forward at the olympics - stanley cup - conn smythe that would be a pretty spectacular year for 22 year old jonathan toews, and it cold VERY easily happen.

    considering you need pitching and have extra outfielders, i don't understand why you haven't accepted already. i was always extremely skeptical of how high upton was going this season. he's still only 22

    I doubt it. They outshot Colorado 51-17, couldn't score and lost on an own goal in Game 3 of that series to fall behind 2-1 but came back to win the next three and the series. touche. Hadn't thought about that. yeah but the avalanche weren't close to what the hawks are right now

    Unfortunately, I couldn't watch this game. I'm planning on rewatching it later, but can you guys tell me how it went? All I got from my brother was that the Sharks dominated the 1st and the Hawks dominated the 3rd.
