    it cracks me up how blindly people will defend rose on here. especially consider they trash westbrook for the way he's playing.

    OMG A BAD GAME AND A BAD 3 QUARTERS rose is having a bad POSTSEASON. it's funny how i knew exactly what you'd be saying about rose's performance tonight before i even went back and read through the thread. you seriously have to be the biggest rose homer of all time. I wouldnt say Derrick Rose is having a bad postseason, considering a number of advanced metrics show improvement over his regular season performance, including PER (however you feel about the stat) and win shares per 48 minutes. That said, his TS% has plummeted and clearly doesn't pass the eye test. But bad postseason? no way. PER is garbage. stop using it. Rose is shooting 40% in the postseason. Ther'es is no way around it. He's having a bad postseason. Unless of course you think chucking up 25-30 shots a game at 40% is somehow helping the team

    why is rose barely getting any criticism from the media? he's been flat out bad in the postseaosn, but they still keep pimping him hard. if lebron/kobe/dirk was playing like rose is playing, they'd be getting CRUSHED by everybody. but with rose, it's just "the MVP is so explosive and so amazing at finishing at the rim!" when he's going like 9-29 and [expletive]. it's get of annoying. maybe some constructive criticism would help. the main headline on espn.com right now is a perfect example. they "somewhat" contained him? he was 12-32. he was awful. i think people look at his 34 points and just say "damn, rose dropped 34 again", when reality it should be "damn, rose shot well under 40% again". rose is having an awful postseason. AND WE HAVEN'T EVEN PLAYED A GOOD TEAM YET

If the Mavericks beat the Lakers, the Thunder would be my favorite to win the title. I definitely think they could beat Miami in a seven game series. who cares, imb is more concerned with rose than the thunder

    mannnn, i hate how everyone is taking pot shots at AI now i remember in middle school my friend's favorite player was iverson and i was always jordan/bulls, so he'd constantly give me [expletive] foriverson crossing over jordan like that. he also would say "jordan cheats on his wife" and then i'd say something about a chair in a bowling alley.

    well wait are rose's complementary players good or not, someone was just saying that rose is carrying mediocre players on a bum ankle. And the Celtics players are old and decrepit and the only reason they're really good. Oh and Rose gets fouled 85 times per game. early in the season: "rose doesn't get to the line enough" now: "rose gets to the line way too much. it's BS"

    i didn't know all bulls fans had to share identical opinions. this is an interesting development. i think people are starting to sell the rest of the bulls short at this point. the main reason the bulls won 62 games was their lights out defense. rose didn't have much to do with that. the main thing is that, at some point, the bulls should be able to get a shooting guard that can actually create offense.
