  1. why is chatwood warming when darvish is at like 65 pitches
  2. just go after swanson, horsefeathers
  3. He does that once every game, I swear. yeah that one really fooled me though. all part of the javy mystique i guess
  4. there goes baez for a few weeks
  5. I’m really anxious to see how he does. He seemingly can only be either really good or really bad and both would be entertaining in completely different ways he'll pitch great and get babip'd
  6. were we supposed to be impressed that our 2 high first round picks platooned for 3 war in cf?
  7. this is the start where darvish turns it around
  8. "we need to try harder to start the season" "oh no, we're trying too hard"
  9. it's funny because that's how theo was let off the hook after leaving boston, except the dodgers were on the other side
  10. i thought the 30 for 30 was going to be about our ascent, not our descent
  11. who cares. the last 2+ seasons have been a consistent descent in every way, and nothing of significance has changed. it's time. they can't stress getting out to a fast start 2 years in a row, have a complete meltdown like this in the first week, and not do anything. really thought it doesn't even matter. we have like 3 good major league players, no money, and a trashy system. barring some magic by theo, the run looks over for now. If they want to let him go to “light a fire” or as more of a body of work over the last few years or whatever, fine I guess. But to act like this start is really on Joe I think is a bit disingenuous. On the latter comment about the run being over I’d say I’m gonna wait longer than 5 games in early April to declare such a thing. nobody is even saying it's on joe. managers just get stale and it's an easy way to shake things up. losing joe maddon is not going to hurt this team, but it could help. and the "it's only 5 games" kind of makes it sound like they're simply off to a bad start. it's not about the 1-4, it's about the complete and total ineptitude they've shown in every facet of the game, with much of it being the same horsefeathers we've seen before this.
  12. I’d say outside of tonight, which still the bullpen just sucks but could’ve been quicker on the trigger, none of this horsefeathers is on Joe so far. who cares. the last 2+ seasons have been a consistent descent in every way, and nothing of significance has changed. it's time. they can't stress getting out to a fast start 2 years in a row, have a complete meltdown like this in the first week, and not do anything. really thought it doesn't even matter. we have like 3 good major league players, no money, and a trashy system. barring some magic by theo, the run looks over for now.
  13. the booing is going to be ferocious at wrigley next week
  14. they're going to be good on account of the cubs now being good
  15. get him off the horsefeathering team how many meatballs did he get in tha ab
