    There's no way that is accurate and I don't need to see the math that made it, nobody is that unlucky. Nobody. Also, I wouldn't say he was "heating up", he had a good week after piss poor play for the entire time he was in AA. There's no way that the NFC could win 14 consecutive coin-tosses in the superbowl, nobody is that lucky. Nobody.

    I try not to talk too much about sexuality here, though I think most people know by now I'm gay. This story is really one of the most significant Chicago sports stories, for me personally, that I can recall in a long time. I am so proud to be a fan of both the Cubs and the Blackhawks right now. I'm not going to pretend that there's a chance that every player on both teams is comfortable with homosexuality, but the fact that the organization wants to participate in this and that some players are willing if not excited to do so says a lot about the progress we've made. That said, the pride parade isn't my cup of tea. I hope they have fun. I agree this is a great thing for both teams to do. However as a Cubs fan in STL I can only imagine some of the "jokes" I'll hear about this.

    My guess is wild pitch bounces off the bricks back towards home and Kosuke is out at home. Then Nady hits one to the gap but is out on a diving catch.

    It's starting to sound like the casual fan is starting to turn on Theriot too, so hopefully management will do the same. I really wish they would have traded him this offseason.

    after looking at his website it doesn't look like he'll be bringing good statistical analysis. It looks like he does a lot of player x hits well with 2 outs and RISP and crap like that.

    Either team can score with walks, hbp, errors, etc. and have two no hitters in a normal 9 inning game. I'm pretty sure that if a pitcher doesn't pitch 9 innings it's not a technically a no hitter, so if the Cubs don't bat in the bottom of the ninth because the games over Floyd wouldn't get credit for a no hitter. I think Weaver lost a no hitter because of this a couple of years ago.

    I wonder why. Can't wait for Lou to just throw Baker in the 3 hole to take Lee's spot. God forbid he'd have to write up a whole new lineup card or anything.... Close, he put Baker in the 2 spot and moved Byrd to the 3 spot
